After growing up in Washington D.C., Rob cut his teeth in the world of American politics, serving as President Barack Obama’s Director of Broadcast Media in the White House, where he briefed and staffed the President for all on-camera media appearances. Prior to the White House, Rob worked at the Department of Justice, the DNC, the House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee and both Obama Presidential Campaigns.
After leaving the White House, Rob moved to New York City and founded 38 Paces, a leading national media and consulting firm. As a political media consultant, Rob has written and directed media campaigns for leading Democratic candidates, including Mike Bloomberg for President, Congresswoman Jahana Hayes, Congressman Sean Casten, and Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes. In Public Affairs, Rob has led communications and messaging strategy for clients like Netflix Sustainability, Campaign Zero, Rewiring America, GoFundMe and dozens of others.
